• Accurately and efficiently enter orders for items to be purchased via website, telephone, fax and e-mail
• Clarify and fulfill customer requests/needs by presenting available selections of products and services with appropriate pricing and lead times
• Understand and respond to customer delivery needs by interfacing with internal personnel
• Prepare and transmit requests for customer quotes for items to be purchased via website, telephone, fax and e-mail
• Maintain accurate customer information in database according to company procedures
• Maintain an updated computerized inventory to include price changes, new and deleted items, descriptions and other related data

• Associates Degree preferred. High school diploma/GED with one to two years related experience will also be considered
• Prior experience in locomotive or automotive parts sales preferred. Experience in related industries will also be considered
• Knowledge of locomotive or automotive parts and mechanical concepts
• Must be reliable and self-motivated
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good work ethic and enthusiasm to learn all aspects of the customer service operation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Inventory software, Order Processing Systems, Database software, and Internet/E-mail skills
